These photographs show the stages of reconstruction in a woman with left breast cancer who had left nipple sparing mastectomy and immediate (at same time as mastectomy) DIEP Flap breast reconstruction.

Below is a photograph of the woman 3 months after left prophylactic nipple sparing mastectomy and immediate left DIEP flap breast reconstruction. The abdominal scar will fade more at 1 year.
